Years ago in the dawn of internet ordering I first tasted Kona coffee from a no longer operating company called Nickybeans. It was an awakening. Up until then I had lived on Jamacian Blue Mountain coffee because of my time in the Carribean. The Kona was equal to or superior to the Jamacian and now I relish both. Real Kona coffee is a difficult to find as the Jamacian. There are so many fake or substandard Kona's out there That I had just about given up finding the real thing. Royal Kona is the real thing. I have also ordered the Kona peaberry, a much rarer and more expensivesingle bean version of Kona. I have yet to try it, but I'll let you know when I do. Unlike the modern trend I like my coffee roasted light to medium. Yes it contains more caffeine than darker roasts, it also contains much more flavor. Try it. Don't be mislead by other so-called Kona's that, at moast contain 10-15% Kona beans.
