Let me first say I generally do not like the vast majority of coffee. I just can't stand the bitterness (and I've tried many different ones). So this coffee was actually a gift to my wife who in general loves coffee. I've ready many great things about kona coffee beans and I must say both the smell of the beans when I openes the bag and the smell from brewing made me expect bad things... A very aromatic coffee indeed. Smelled as if it was going to have a good bit of bitterness to it. I tried it black expecting a strong bitterness. There was none. Not a single trace of bitterness. It was unbelievable...like the bitterness was replaced with unsweetened butter (obviously it wasn't sweet at all... but seriously not even bitter at all). I don't even like coffee and I could drink this without creamer at all! My wife of course still used some creamer and she also really liked this as well! 5 stars!
